The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Revealed

According to the official statement, "A mysterious encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine sect.

The questline centers on "strange trials and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an unique katana alongside multiple items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
